There is some incredible nail art trends happening right now.  I myself, am in love with the partial glitter on the nails.  There is fine or chunky, subtle or bold.  I think I love them all!  For the "First Day Of Christmas", I am posting a super easy DIY.  Bring on the Holiday parties!

Step 1: Apply a base coat such as CND Stickey to all nails.  Allow time to dry.

Step 2: Apply a deep red such as China Glaze Dahling to one finger nail only.

Step 3: Pour a small amount of Martha Stewart White Gold Glitter in its packaging lid.  Just enough to dip half of your finger nail into.

Step 4: Dip your painted nail into the lid.  Make sure your finger is at an angle if you want the effect in the picture.  Otherwise, you can dip it straight in if you want it to look more like a french tip.

Step 5: Repeat the paint and dip process on all nails.  Allow to dry.

Step 6: Apply a top coat such as CND Super Shiney to all nails.  If you want the glitter to stay put, be sure to apply the top coat just to the polish and then drag it to the glittered nail.  Wipe the brush off on a paper towel before doing the next nail.  If you want the glitter to have a "sprinkled" or "hombre" effect, apply as normal.

Step 7: Let dry and done!
