a new chapter | imperfect simplicity
Happy Tuesday! The last few years have been a time of many new beginnings for me. A closing of a business, an opening of a new business, moving, marriage, sending my only child to school, and trying to balance all of it gracefully. Within the past two years, my husband and I have been making great strides to create the "perfect" life for us. You might say we live somewhat of an unconventional life, but then again, what is "normal" anyway? With a photographer, a stylist, and a dynamic seven year old living under one roof, much of our life is documented through photographs, words, and occasional videos.
'Janie Rocek' blog will still be up and running, better than ever, focused on the art of hair + makeup + wardrobe + props for weddings + photojournalism + editorial.
Lifestyle, home, renovations, food, health, beauty, wardrobe, working and schooling from home in the form of inspiration, tutorials, tips, and occasional guest posts from the people we look up to (our friends and family) is what you'll find on our new blog, Imperfect Simplicity. I hope you will join us there. Join us on a journey of letting go of perfect, and letting in grace, love, reality, and intention. Join us on a journey of simplifying and allowing less to be more.
