THINGS TO CONSIDER

Weather:  Gorgeous in Colorado today.  Denver is  in the high 70s, Loveland in the low 70s. It will drop down to 40-50 tonight.

Work/Activities:  Commuting to Denver to meet with clients and do a few wedding trial runs with brides.  Then commuting back and off to a kid Easter egg hunt with friends.

Wear/Washability:  Good.  The chambray shirt is lightweight so needs to be hung out of washer/dryer right away so it doesn't wrinkle EXCEPT my puppy ripped this shirt a couple days ago!  It happened to rip in the front towards the bottom so luckily I can still wear it if I'm creative.

STYLE NOTES

TRY SOMETHING NEW  If I weren't doing the 10x10, I would have never paired these items together.  It's one of my favorite looks so I'm glad I did!

WEAR IT BACKWARDS  When I shop, I try to find clothes that are reversible, can be worn multiple ways, or even backwards.  I have never worn this dress backwards before because it is backless but it works with layers!

SET AN EXAMPLE  When I first came out in the outfit, I had a few more buttons undone and you could see my cleavage (or lack there of).  As an adult woman, I thought it was fine but my daughter did not approve... "You can't take pictures of that Mom!" "You're not looking for a new husband!"  LOL!!  I took pictures anyway but the more I thought about it, she was right.  Not about the husband part because I'm sure my husband would be happy to see me in that!  BUT I would never let her wear something like that when she's a teen and it's not the person I want to represent.  I can look beautiful and sexy without showing too much skin.  Thank you Rheya for that style tip!

Have you done the 10x10 challenge?  Or do you want to?  What things do you learn about yourself during the process?

Be sure to tag your photos on social media #spring10x10.  Also, tag me so I can see! @janieedwards_co

Hugs!
