Natural Easter Egg Dye

As I was arranging the colored Easter eggs to take some pictures, there was one egg that really caught my attention.  It was an egg Rheya had decorated, one that read "you found me".  It was cute and genius when she wrote it out yesterday, imaging one of the kiddos would pick that egg up and read that message during their Easter egg hunt today!

You Found Me.

Amazing Grace.  Once lost, now found.

Out of the mouths of babes.  This little message on this little egg is a powerful one.  The Bible says, "We all, like sheep, have gone astray; each of us has turned to our own way." (Isaiah 53:6)  As humans, we sin, we make mistakes, we fail.  That is why Jesus came.  Jesus declared His mission with the words, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).  Jesus came to find us.  It is a clear expression of the Creator’s love for His lost creation that He pursues us and desires to make us His own.
